NBA is back this week, and we look forward to an exciting opening round with plenty of interesting matchups. The last season’s champion Milwaukee Bucks will take on the Brooklyn Nets in what could be a potential NBA Finals. Two of the strongest teams in the league will go head-to-head in the opening round and make a perfect start to the 2021/22 season. Third time lucky for the Nets?
After a long pre-season where the teams and players have had time to recover and prepare for upcoming challenges we are finally set for another tough season. Compared to the two previous seasons this one will have a full 82-game regular season.
The bookmakers have agreed on the Brooklyn Nets as heavyweight favorites to win the upcoming season. The Nets have managed to reach the NBA Finals twice before but failed to win the title on both occasions. Together with the Lakers they’re believed to be the top contenders for this season’s title. The Lakers didn’t manage to advance from the first-round last season as they fell short against the Suns, 2-4. Both the Nets and Lakers will surely be looking for improvement this season and it would come as a surprise if we don’t see at least one of them in the NBA finals later this spring.
